Sheet Music: Score
This is our home (Ngindaji ngarragî muwayi) : from 'Jandamarra, Sing for the Country', for SSAA choir and wind symphony / music by Paul Stanhope ; arr. Jessica Wells ; text by Steve Hawke, Patsy Bedford and June Oscar.
This piece is the final movement of Jandamarra - Sing for the Country - a music drama work originally for large choral and orchestral forces about the Indigenous resistance hero from the 1890s who fought white settlers and police in order to protect his people and country from invasion. As well as being a remembrance of Jandamarra and all he means to the Bunuba people, the song is a celebration of family, of language and of country.
