More (Bulgarian for Sea) is a poem by Bulgarian Australian Marcia Malinova-Anthony about her experiences of alienation as a migrant in this country and the solace she has found in the vastness of the sea, "as in an invisible cosmic womb".
More is part of a 65 minute suite of music Zashto? (Why?) on the subject of Australia's treatment of migrants over the centuries. The other composers are Sandy Evans, Andrew Robson, Tony Gorman, Llew Kiek and Mara Kiek - all current or former members of cross-cultural band Mara!
