Digital Sheet Music [PDF]: Score & Part(s)Illuminated Rhythms : for flute and piano [eScore] / John Spence.by John Spence (2018)
|
Product details
Illuminated Rhythms is a dynamic piece for flute and piano. As the title suggests, rhythm plays an important part in the enrgy and tension of the piece. Although it contains conventional metres, it uses additive rhythmic groupings within each metre. Furthermore, the score has been edited in an unorthadox way to show this interpretation. There are also some easy-to-play multiphonics at the beginning and the fingering diagrams are also displayed. The contour of the flute part is mostly scalic and unchallenging despite the complexity of the harmony. Illuminated Rhythms offers a concert piece with flair and brilliance.
