Product details

This tone poem for solo cello and orchestra was commissioned for premiere performance by Patrick Suthers and the Canberra Symphony Orchestra. The title of the work, Beyond the ridge, the ranges far, was developed in collaboration with Karl and inspired by my discussions with both Karl and Gisela about their shared love of hiking, with exploration of mountains being a common thread in their travels and experiences of nature.
