SIMA presents the Jazz:NOW Summer Festival featuring; Virna Sanzone in Concert
Sophisticated jazz vocals, with unmatched virtuosity
Virna Sanzone is a highly-accomplished artist with the ability to breathe new life into well-known jazz repertoire and re-invent little known gems. Singing in English as well as several Romance languages, Sanzone sets the standard for music with passion and soul.
Her velvet vocal mastery will be accompanied over two sets, first by bassist Phil Stack in an intimate duo, and then as a quartet featuring Lloyd Swanton (The Necks), pianist Matt McMahon and Tim Firth.
