Part concert, part music theatre, part song cycle.
The Fission-Fusion Whale maps out a 21st-centry fairy tale: three face-painted god-like interstellar explorers find themselves swallowed within a galactic whale, located on a distant planet, in which the three entities form a symbiotic dependency with the creature.
The work pivots on the vocal performances of Strange James and Justine Anderson, is molded by the supernova-sonic terrains by renowned percussionist Peter Neville and an added audio-visual dimension by Duckworth Hullick Duo.
