Syzygy Ensemble presents: Revive, Contemporary Australian classical music exploring themes of transformation, rejuvenation and hope. Uplifting and thought provoking music written by Zinia Chan, Anthony Moles, Kenya Wilkins and Cyrus Merurant.
Performed by Laila Engle - flutes; Robin Henry - Clarinets, Campbell Banks - Cello, Leigh Harrold - Piano, and Zoe Black - Guest Violin Syzygy Ensemble is an award-winning contemporary music group based in Melbourne.
Since forming in 2010 they have gained a reputation as one of Australia’s finest new music ensembles, lauded for their virtuoso precision, innovative programming, and ability to connect viscerally with their audiences. The ensemble has been recognised for excellence in performance with a nominated for a Helpmann Award 2012, and in 2014 received the Contemporary Masters Award. Syzygy Ensemble is part of On the Road Again, a Victorian Government initiative to bring live music back across the state.
