Program Zinia Chan – Weaving of Threads Kitty Xiao – Emei Harry Sdraulig – Speak Salina Fischer – Kintsugi Cyrus Meurant – The Crossing of Sea A fearless pioneer in chamber music, Syzygy Ensemble combines virtuoso talent with a bold commitment to today’s music. Lauded for their breathtaking precision and innovative repertoire, the ensemble seeks to spark visceral connections between 21st-century artists and audiences. Syzygy has extensive professional experience delivering high quality recitals as part of the Melbourne Festival, Musica Viva and the Melbourne Recital Centre within the Local Heroes series since 2012. The ensemble has been recognised for excellence in performance being nominated for a Helpmann Award 2012, and in 2014 received the Contemporary Masters Award.
