Sympathy for the Devil (world premiere)
John Milton’s epic poem Paradise Lost (1674) sealed his reputation as one of the greatest English poets of his time. Milton’s purpose was ‘to justify the ways of God to men.’ Christopher William’s adaptation, Sympathy for the Devil, was created in collaboration with researchers at the cutting edge of spatial audio technology in Italy. It is an exciting development in live radiophonic performance using immersive audio technology that creates a unique listening experience.
