Event Details
The SBS Youth Orchestra performs three brilliant works by three very different composers. Brahms composed his last concerto in 1887 for his friends, cellist Robert Hausmann and violinist Joseph Joachim. In 1910, the first performance of Stravinsky’s Firebird in Paris established his international reputation and in 2003 Elena Kats-Chernin composed the award-winning piece Wild Swans.
