For this concert, the NSSO is joined by the 2018 winner of the Fine Music 102.5 Young Virtuoso competition, soprano Anna Stephens. This wonderful young singer is already wowing audiences with her beautiful coloratura voice. She is the recipient of numerous awards and prizes, and has already won roles with major opera companies including Opera Australia. She will sing a range of fantastic songs and arias that will leave your senses tingling. The concert opens with a work by the much-loved Australian composer Elena Kats-Chernin; Obsidian Light is a spellbinding work of great beauty and delicacy. The concert also offers a feast of Elgar; his two Chansons and the ever-popular Enigma Variations. This is a concert not to be missed - book your tickets now!
