Event Details
Following Borodin's Piano Quintet and Sculthorpe's Landscape II, the final work in this program is Dvorák's magical Piano Quintet, which chamber music authority Walter Wilson Cobbett once described as 'one of the freshest and most characteristic creations of the composer's genius.' Along with the quintets of Schumann and Brahms, it is a pinnacle of music composed for piano and string quartet.
Featured non-Australian music: Borodin, Dvorák
