Event Details
Experience the incredible choirs of Moorambilla Voices as they celebrate 12 magnificent years in another iconic Moorambilla Gala Concert.
This 80 minute concert will leave you spellbound. Feel firsthand the power of the Japanese Taiko drums, listen to the beauty of the angelic voices of the Moorambilla Regional Girls and Boys Choir and the MAXed OUT Company as they join with Australia's foremost vocal ensemble, The Song Company, and musicians of the highest calibre from the Australian World Orchestra.
These concerts bring to life the stories and landscape of Bourke's Gundabooka National Park through music, dance and percussion and are arranged by leading and emerging Australian composers, professional dancers, musicians and the children themselves.
Led by Artistic Director and founder Michelle Leonard OAM, this year's concert also features digital artists from the region plus magnificent fire sculptures and lanterns under the night sky after the Saturday 7.00pm concert.
Be prepared to be moved and amazed by the passion and creativity of this region's children and youth. This is Moorambilla Voices 2017!
