Australian pianist Lisa Moore and American cellist Ashley Bathgate - untamable Bang on a Can and Cantaloupe Music recording artists - appear in their huge NYC TwoSense concert. Book-ended with Czech music - Leos Janacek's timeless Pohadka (Fairytale) and a guest appearance by the songstress diva Iva Bittova - this explosive concert presents two more virtuosi: flutist Kelli Kathman and steel pan wizard Andy Akiho. Works include world premieres by NY's Mad Coyote Jerome Kitzke and Australia's Amsterdam-based Kate Moore, plus New York premieres by east coast, rising star composers: Stephen Feigenbaum, Paul Kerekes and Andy Akiho. (NB: all represented living composers will be present at the concert).

TwoSense is a concert series and commissioning venture established by Ashley Bathgate and Lisa Moore presenting new, experimental commissions paired with mainstream works for cello and piano and guest artists. Both emerging and distinguished composers are writing works for TwoSense. The TwoSense mission seeks to ensure the inclusion of this music in the library of great chamber music.
