Event Details
Inspired by Allan Browne’s musical philosophy and collaborative spirit, Transients are a series of evolving trios devised by Andrea in 2016. The project showcases an extensive pool of creative musicians (both emerging and established), and has released multiple albums, including Transients Volume 1 & 2 (winning the Music Victoria Award for Best Jazz Album in 2019), and Andrea Keller Curates Monday Nights Live at the Jazzlab Volume 2: Meditations for 2 to 3 Players.
Having held residencies at Bennetts Lane, Uptown Jazz Café, and the Jazzlab, other notable performances include the Melbourne Recital Centre, Melbourne Women’s International Jazz Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, Wangaratta Jazz Festival, Ballarat Winter Festival, NGV Friday Nights, Four Winds NSW, and Perth International Jazz Festival. Joining Andrea for this performance will be saxophonist Julien Wilson and bassist Sam Anning – the original Transients trio.
