Event Details
Lots of Schubert, a fair dollop of romanticism, and something brand new. Erik Griswold’s How Strange the Change is a commentary on the bizarreness that was the year 2020. Join us for music that soars, gallops, sings, and tells stories of profound humanity.
Performers: Jemima Drews (flute), Dario Scalabrini (clarinet), Sarah Butler (trumpet), Brendan Joyce (violin), Jonny Ng (violin), Anna Colville (viola), Katherine Philp (cello) + Alex Raineri (prepared piano)
Featured non-Australian music: Schubert 'Fantasia in F minor', Mahler 'Piano Quartet in A minor', Strauss 'Vier Lieder, Op. 27', Schubert 'Introduction and Variations Trockne Blumen'
