Event Details
NSW Doctors Orchestra has for 19 years raised money for health charities and for musical scholarships for young people in Australia. Dedicated physicians, surgeons, anaesthetists, GPs and more donate their time to uplift and heal using music, while generating funds for the community. This year we play Tchaikovsky, Boieldieu and Grenfell, in support of the Sydney-based Baird Institute, the only dedicated cardiothoracic surgical training and research institute in Australia. Tickets and donations go directly to charity.
Featured non-Australian music: Tchaikovsky - "Pathetique" Symphony no. 6; Boieldieu - Harp Concerto in C major
