Event Details
A feature of the annual Newcastle Music Festival is the coming together of local singers to form the Festival Choir. This year the Choir will perform Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in d minor, Op. 48, composed between 1887 and 1890. Peter Guy will accompany the performance on the magnificent Christ Church Cathedral organ, in one of his last Newcastle performances. David Banney’s Mass for Peace will have its world premiere at this concert.
