Event Details

Witness the exciting premiere of Miyapunu by Galpu Songman Guwanbal Gurruwiwi and Darwin Symphony Orchestra’s own Netanela Mizrahi. Newly arranged for full orchestra and youth choir, this unique cross-cultural collaboration is not to be missed.

Following this compelling premiere will be a spirited performance of Haydn’s beloved Cello Concerto No. 1, featuring DSO’s very own Jonathan Tooby on cello. Jean Sibelius’s “confession of the soul”, his deeply moving Symphony No. 2, concludes an evening of exquisite music that is also a testament to humanity and hope.
