Spanish percussion superstar Miquel Bernat will entrance listeners with his virtuosity, as the rapturous sounds of ancient and modern percussion float and soar under the stars in the Inner Courtyard.
WAAPA’s award-winning Defying Gravity percussion ensemble presents a magical evening of musical masterworks: Vincent Plush’s Summoning of the Sun glistens with the radiance of the sun, Marc Mellit’s Gravity fills the air with energy and rhythm, and Peter Sculthorpe’s From Jabiru Dreaming brings the glory of Kakadu to life.
