Event Details
60-minute musical drama centering on the life of Cooktown resident, botanical artist and activist Vera Scarth-Johnson. Commissioned for the Cooktown Discovery Festival commemorating the landing of Captain Cook and crew with the Endeavour in FNQ.
Libretto/creative direction - Jan Black
Composition - Louise Denson and Derek Rosendale.
Supported by Cooktown Shire Council, Gambling Community Benefits Fund, RADF and private donations.
