Prior to departing for Japan on scholarship, violinist Julia Hill in partnership with fellow BMF young artist Francis Atkins are featured recitalists in this wonderful program. The profoundly reverential sounds of Bach's famous 'Solo Sonata in G minor' will reverberate through the beautiful acoustics of Brisbane's iconic St Mary's. Clara Schumann and Elena Kats-Chernin's works tell stories of passion, intimacy, and deep expression. The concert concludes with Poulenc's witty, sentimental, and charming Sonata.
