Event Details

BCJO will present a special final concert of the year featuring compositions and arrangements by long-time member of the band, pianist/composer Louise Denson. Multi-instrumentalist Diana Tolmie will be featured soloist on "Flora australiae', a suite celebrating iconic Australian plants, and other numbers. Various regular members of BCJO will be featured on new arrangements of compositions from Louise's prior CDs "Flame Tree" and "Portrait". This concert culminates a year of work exploring contemporary big band arranging, and a new direction in Louise's musical life.
