Event Details
Three by Five will feature three, five-movement suites inspired by dance. Australian Carl Vine’s quirky Knips Suite will open the concert, followed by Czech composer Erwin Schulhoff’s neo-Baroque Dance Suite Five Pieces for String Quartet. Bringing the concert to close (with a bang!) will be a world premiere performance of a new suite for string quartet and dance, commissioned by Black Square Quartet (BSQ) and composed by Brisbane’s own Thomas Green.
