Event Details
The talented students of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music return to Melbourne Recital Centre in 2013, with a concert of much-loved works by Ravel and Gershwin and a new work by Australian composer James Wade. Conducted by Melbourne favourite and University alumni Benjamin Northey, the program features Gershwin's depiction of 1920s Paris in An American in Paris, alongside two of Ravel's best known works: the enigmatic and virtuosic Piano Concerto in G and the rousing yet ever-popular Bolero. This event is free and general admission, however tickets are required for entry.
