Event Details

Join one half of the Black Square String Quartet for an intimate one-hour recital at historic St Andrew's Church in Ormiston. Camille Barry (violin) and Dan Curro (cello) will present a selection of works for solo violin, solo cello, and violin/cello. The programme will feature works by Bach & Britten, Paul Stanhope's 'Songline', and Ravel's formidable Sonata for Violin & Cello.

Stay after the concert to chat with the performers and enjoy some afternoon tea.

JS Bach - Grave from Sonata No.2 in A Minor BWV 1003
JS Bach - Sarabande from Partita No.2 in D Minor BWV 1004
Maurice Ravel - Sonata for Violin and Cello
Britten - Suite No.1 for Cello
