In their first concert of 2013, the Queensland Conservatorium’s Percussion department’s ensemble Ba Da Boom Percussion, along with special guests Anna Grinberg, Nozomi Omote and Liam Viney, will present a captivating repertoire.
Focused equally on improvisation, new works and pre-existing repertoire, Ba Da Boom has become an important laboratory for percussion in Australia, performing new music by composers Liza Lim, Erik Griswold, Jennifer Fowler, Gerardo Dirie, Michael Askill and Gerard Brophy.
