The annual Australian Composition Day will again be held at Santa Sabina College on Monday 25 July 2022.
This year our featured Australian composers are Brenda Gifford and Elizabeth Younan.
Australian composer Damian Barbeler will be leading the day with our special guest artists and one of Australia’s foremost new music groups, Ensemble Offspring.
Analysis of set works will be accompanied by an education kit for students and teachers to take home.
Australian Composition Day 2022 is suitable for secondary students in Yr 7-12 and music teachers.
Students should bring their own food and drink for recess and lunch. The College Canteen will also be open for all visitors.
Morning tea and lunch will be provided for teachers/supervisors. This will be a COVID19-safe event.
Free for teachers accompanying students.
