Event Details
From the sublime to the diabolical, Angels and Demons explores the fascination with the ethereal cosmos versus the gothic macabre.
Join the charming Damien Beaumont for captivating stories and witty insights as Southern Cross Soloists perform works of unutterable beauty by Rachmaninov, Tavener and Mozart, and gleefully devilish fury by Liszt and Marais along with Mozart’s dramatically brooding Don Giovanni overture.
These opposing forces come to a head in the world premiere performance of the titular new work by the Soloists’ own Ashley Smith, Angels and Demons.
