Event Details
A journey through 20th century flute music... "I invite you to embark on a musical exploration of 20th century flute repertoire. We will begin with French composer Guillaume Connesson's Le Rire de Saraï, then continuing onwards to the Australian soundscape of Carl Vine in his Sonata for flute and piano. The program will finish on the plains of Denmark with Carl Nielsen's Concerto for flute. All of this will be collaborating with the inimitable Leigh Harrold, whose playing will bring these pieces to life. We hope you can join us on this journey." (Cassandra Slater)
