We're having our first concert of the 2015 season - and what a start it will be! Featuring: Hard-Style-Electro composer - Thomas Green's - brand new Saxophone Concerto for touring guest artist - Diana Tolmie - Melbourne eclectic band's The Tiger & Me's lead vocalist - Ade Vincent - brings us a stunning new work for orchestra, plus the world premiere of - Brenton Broadstock's - arrangement of the classic hit Polovtsian Dances. All this, plus a new work for flugelhorn & orchestra by freelance trumpet player - Louisa Trewartha - the Melbourne premiere of Michael Bakrnchev's internationally performed piece Flight, and welcoming Australian born composer, - Soni Petrovski - with his arrangement of the Macedonian folk dance - The Drunken Dance. This concert is not to be missed, and it's happening among the beautiful setting of one of Melbourne's most iconic restored venues, The Abbotsford Convent.
