Tristram Cary (b.Oxford, England, 1925), moved to Australia in 1974 to take up a post at Adelaide University. Internationally known forhis pioneer work in electronic and computer music (first experiments1948), he has also written prolifically in the instrumental and vocal fields. For many years his main living came form scores for film, theatre, radio and television, and much of his orchestral work has so far been for film. ...
