Purchase Sydney International Piano Competition works by Vine and Boyd
Scores for the two Australian works commissioned as set works by the Sydney International Piano Competition 2012, Anne Boyd's Kabarli Meditation and Carl Vine's Toccatissimo, will be available for purchase following the completion of Stage III recitals on 10th July.
Toccatissimo will be available from the Australian Music Centre, courtesy of Vine's publisher Faber Music. Kabarli Meditation is published by the University of York Music Press. The two contrasting works, Boyd's introspective Kabarli Meditation (Dawn) and Vine's virtuosic Toccatissimo, can be heard online on ABC Classic FM.
The Australian Music Centre has perusal copies available for reference, at the AMC library in The Rocks, Sydney. A sample from the score for Toccatissimo is also available on the AMC website.
