Participate in an international study on female composers

Participate in an international study on female composers

The Creative Workforce Initiative (CWI) is conducting a collaborative study on the characteristics of work and the challenges and opportunities facing female composers. CWI's Professor Dawn Bennett (Curtin University) has partnered with Associate Professor Cat Hope (Edith Cowan University), and Associate Professor Sally Macarthur (University of Western Sydney) to conduct this international study.

The study aims to create a better understanding of the creative workforce through investigations of the working lives and economic circumstances of creative workers across a wide range of disciplines. Drawing on a range of social and economic contexts, CWI academics work with partner investigators in Australia, England, Scotland, Canada, the US and Malaysia.
