Opportunity: APRA Tropscore 2012

Short film festival Tropfest and APRA have announced the fourth APRA Tropscore competition, calling for musicians, composers, bands and artists to produce a musical score or synch for a short film clip provided by Tropfest.

Entries for the competition close 12 January (6pm AEST). Participants should download the entry film clip (Returning by emerging Australian filmmaker Amelia Olsen-Boyd), create their musical score or synch and submit their entry online. Finalists will be announced in February 2012.

The winner of will win $5,000 cash courtesy of APRA and will have the chance to perform their winning score live on stage at Movie Extra Tropfest in Sydney (19 February), as well as other cities around Australia.
