New scores in the AMC Library May-July 2021
Image: Anne Cawrse's Room of Her Own is available for listening as part of the ASQ's Australian Anthology. We're excited to have very recently added to our collection many of the scores from the 2021 Art Music Awards list of finalists.
These include Anne Cawrse's string quartet A Room of Her Own (available for listening as part of the ASQ's Australian Anthology); Gordon Kerry's Clarinet Quintet (Omega Ensemble's performance can be viewed on YouTube); Cyrus Meurant's When I stand before thee at the day's end for solo violin and strings; Yitzhak Yedid's Kadosh Kadosh and Cursed for 14 players (watch a performance from the Azrieli Prizes gala concert on YouTube); Erik Griswold's dramatic work Dragon Ladies Don't Weep for prepared piano, toy piano, miniature music boxes and percussion; and Cathy Milliken's orchestral work Piece 43 For Now.
