In the words of Tony Gould,
this collection of old and new standards, originals and music for
film represents 'playing and musical ideas at a particular time
in life'. The Lucky Ones includes a number of compositions by
Gould, including three pieces 'composed totally spontaneously at
the keyboard'.

Six profiles of Australian women composers - Katie Zhukov, piano (Wirripang)
The latest Wirripang CD is
an overview of piano music written by six Australian women
composers over the past 70 years. Great variety of styles from
the late-Romantic, elegant French, jazz-influenced and distinctly
quirky are melded into unique Australian sound. Composers
featured are Iris de Cairos-Rego, Ester Rofe, Margaret
Sutherland, Moneta Eagles, Mary Mageau and Betty Beath.
