ISCM World New Music Days 2021 in China - Australian works submitted

The Australian ISCM section's official submission for the 2021 ISCM World New Music Days in Shanghai and Nanning, China (17-25 September 2021) has been selected, and includes the following works:

• James Beattie: Lyre, Lyre (2021) for fixed media

Dobromila Jaskot: Spri (2019) for piano

Cameron Lam: Synchronous Time from String Quartet No. 2: Time echoes your sound (2019)

Clare Maclean: Psalm 11 (2019) for SSAATTBB choir

Nicole Murphy: Surfacing (2018) for chamber ensemble

Sam Wu: Teasdale Songs (2016/17) for SATB choir

Congratulations to these composers on their selection, and thanks to all who submitted works for consideration by the panel. The festival will now consider which works it will select for inclusion in the festival program - at least one work from each official submission will be performed during the festival. AMC will relay the announcement of the program as soon as it has been made.

Individual submissions outside this offical selection by the Australian ISCM section can be submitted until 16 March 2021 at 11:59pm CET (Central European Time). An entry fee of €53.05 applies, payable at the time of submission by PayPal through the ISCM website.
