ISCM World Music Days 2013 - call for works

ISCM World Music Days 2013 - call for works

The International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) is seeking works for its 2013 World New Music Days in Austria and Slovakia. The festival will be organised in the cities of Bratislava, Kosice and Vienna on 7-16 November 2013 by the Slovak and the Austrian sections of the ISCM.

As the Australian section of the ISCM, the Australian Music Centre is calling for works to include in their official submission. AMC will convene a panel who will select 6 works for consideration by the ISCM Festival selection jury. At least one work from every official submission will be performed.

Submissions to the Australian section should be sent by 1 November 2011 (postmark) to: Philippa Horn, Australian Music Centre, PO Box N690, Grosvenor Place, NSW 1220. Composers and sound artists making a submission should lodge only ONE work in ONE of the categories offered, with all required support materials as listed within the guidelines. For work categories, submission materials and all other details, please see the call for works document (pdf).

Please note that the works must have been composed in 2007 - 2011.

Individual artists whose work has not been selected by the section may also submit directly to ISCM. Deadline for individual submissions is 31 December 2011, and a payment of €50 is required - information about the payment procedure is available in the call for works document.
