Government pledges $10M to Support Act, $17M to regional and Indigenous arts
The Federal Government has announced a package of $17 million to support regional and Indigenous arts, and a sum of $10M to the charity Support Act to support people in the music industry. The announcement came as Wednesday's JobKeeper bill passed without the amendments, suggested by Labor, to extend the support package to apply more widely to people and organisations in the arts and entertainment industries.
