Sandy Evans and Lachlan Skipworth are among the five artists to receive $15,000 grants for recording projects, as a result of the most recent grant round from the Australia Council for the Arts and the Phonographic Performance Company of Australia, PPCA.

Composer and saxophonist Sandy Evans's grant will go towards the recording of the new, 70-minute work Bridge of Dreams, together with a group of musicians from Australia and India. The album will be co-released by Australian Rufus Records and the Indian Underscore label. Bridge of Dreams will premiere in Australia in early 2019.

WA-based composer Lachlan Skipworth will record a collection of his recent chamber works - a first album dedicated to his work - for the US-based Navona label.
