APRA Professional Development Awards shortlist


APRA Professional Development Awards shortlist

AMC represented composers Amanda Handel, Daniel Rojas and Katherine Rawlings are among those shortlisted for the 2009 APRA Professional Development Awards. Shortlisted in the classical category are also: Melody Eötvös, Anthony Garcia, Jeff Harper, Symon Kohut, Stephen Lewis, Peter McCracken, Kate Neal, Alex Pozniak, Elisha Sando and Michael Sollis.

These awards are presented by APRA in conjunction with music organisations, and provide cash, travel and recognition to composers and song writers. The award categories are classical, popular contemporary, country, jazz, film and television and Indigenous. For a full list of finalists, please see the APRA awards website.

The winners will be announced on 2nd March in Sydney.
